[11:04:06 PM] Justin Brown: the origin of blix has a personal story to it There was this game i used to play everyday after school, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. It was an amazing game, the story was good and the game play was so fun. My favorite thing to do on the game was, however, to raise my Chao. Chao's are sort of the side game of the main game. The first time you enter the part of the game called the "Chao Garden" it gives you an egg to take care of. Playing with ethier a light (sonic tails etc..) or a dark (Shadow eggman etc..) character you could raise you chao to be light or dark. When my chao hatched i instantly fell in love it (inlove) It was blue with a yellow spot on it's head. Oh how I loved my chao. Anyway, when a chao is first born you are supposed to take it to the Phyicic and the fortune teller gives your chao a name, or you can choose to type out a custom name. I chose the latter. Because the game originnaly came from jappan, there were a lot of jappanese characters. I knew my Chao's name had to be special, So I looked at all the various forigen characters to find ones that looked like english letters I found a 'β' an 'し' an 'エ' and an 'メ'. I knew this name was fitting of my badass chao. "Blix" it sounded so edgy. Not only did it sound cool, those four characters were the only ones that looked like english letters so "B-L-I-X" was the only combonation of those letters that made sense, so it stuck. Sure enough my chao, Blix, would go on to be the badass Chao that I knew he would be I love you, Blix.
